I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and if you are a music junkie like me you know that today is new music Tuesday. This week I am going to feature new cd releases from: Colbie Caillat, Adriana Lucia, Molotov and Noel Torres. All of these artist are super talented and sing amazing.
Pop singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat released a surprise EP titled “Gypsy Heart Side A.” The five track EP which includes her hit single “Try” is an amazing album. Caillat co-wrote “Try” with R&B music mogul Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. The empowering message that the singer wants to convey with this album is that, “You don’t have to try so hard.” If you like a guy and he does not like you back don’t try so hard it’s his loss not yours.
The next featured album this week is Adriana Lucia a well recognized columbian artist who has received many important award nominations. Her new album “Porro” features the best latin rhythms from Colombia. Her latest single “Cendro” was featured in Itunes as the latin single of the week. The fifteen song album will definitely make you sing and dance all night long.
Molotov is back in the music scene once again with “Agua Maldita.” The guys in this new album want to return to their humble beginnings. The four-time Latin Grammy Award-winning band enjoys being bilingual and singing in both languages. The guys also like to sing about political issues affecting their native county Mexico.
Regional Mexican singer Noel Torres released today his latest album titled “La Balanza.” The album also includes “Me Interesas y Para Que Tantos Besos,” his latest number one hits. Noel is one of the most prominent Regional Mexican singers that have emerged in recent years. He sings from the heart and has catchy rhythms in all his songs. If you are looking for some good Regional Mexican music this is definitely the album you need to be listening to.
Last night at the Grammy Museum in L.A. I had the opportunity to attend an exclusive private performance of Sonus a pop rock band. The three brothers born in L.A. but raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina have open shows for One Direction and have been compared to the Jonas brothers. Their newest single tittle “She likes it Like That” has electric rhythms as well catchy music beats that will have you dancing all night long.
The three brother band formed by Marcelo, Andrew and Alex already have a huge following in Argentina, but they are coming back to L.A. to reunite with there fans. Their latest youtube video “Vecina” already has 60,615 views in a short period of time. Their fans go by the name of “Sonusters” and go crazy for them.
Last night the fans that attended went crazy as the brothers hit the stage. At the end of the show the fans rushed over to take pictures and get an autograph of their favorite band member. Sonus has definitely come back stronger than ever before. Fans are already going crazy for them and sooner than later they will be selling out all of their concerts. They are definitely a must see band you can’t miss out on if you want to have fun while listening to good music.
Dare is the new single out of Shakira’s latest album. What version of the song do you like better the Spanish or the English?
Personally me I like the Spanish version, but the English version is also very good. No matter what version you prefer music knows no boundaries and does not speak a specific language. Let’s all turn up the volume and dance away!
I finally got the opportunity to go to Target this morning and purchased the album. Target team up with iheart radio to do the Shakira CD release party last week plus, Target has the deluxe edition of the album. I did hear the album the day it release on Spotify, but I love listening to music better in my car. I like to drive down the highway listening to my favorite music and feeling the wind in my face. I like all the songs in the new album, but my favorite songs are Spotlight, Chasing Shadows, Cut me Deep and You Don’t Care About. The album is amazing you guys need to go out and buy it I promise you wont regret it. The album is worth every penny so please don’t make the silly choice of downloading it. I have been a Shakira fan since she was singing “Pies Descalzos” I have seen her evolve over the years and I truly look up to her. I know that with hard work and dedication just like she has done it my dream job will come when I least expected.
One of the highly anticipated albums I have been waiting for is finally coming out next week. Barcelona got to witness last week a little bit of what the colombian princess new album is all about. Together with her husband Pique she walked down the red carpet. This week she will be hitting L.A to formally introduce her album as well. The self titled album is full of brand new songs that will make you sing and dance all night long. I can’t wait to get my official copy. Since I know the album has been leaked in various cites and that totally makes me mad.
