It’s no surprise that songs that might be popular here in the U.S will more than likely not be popular in other parts of the world. In this case I took on the task to compare the top 20 most popular songs in the U.S and in the UK. To my surprise I did see some similarities and I also saw differences. Like for example the #1 song in the U.S is “Monster” by Eminem and Rihanna and In the UK the #1 song is Pharrell Williams “Happy”. I love the variety of music that the UK has though because they are able to mix a little bit of everything. Some songs or artist are not even known here in the U.S but I am pretty sure that those artist are pretty awesome. I am a little disappointed that the new Shakira song with Rihanna “I can’t remember to Forget You” did not make the charts here in the U.S while in the UK it made it to the #11 spot on the charts. To me listening to music is more than a hobby it’s a passion and a way of life until next lovely readers.

Love,
